Terry Wogan was already well known on the 麻豆社 when his chat show Wogan was relaunched on 18 February 1985 as part of a revamped 麻豆社 One schedule that also saw the start of EastEnders. Wogan went out live at 7pm, three times a week, from the Television Theatre in Shepherds Bush. The intention was to bring some of the relaxed charm of Terry鈥檚 radio show to the format. Wogan thrived and proved his worth immediately after he tripped and fell on the first show, recovering to ad lib with guest Elton John.
