The American author and novelist Meghan Daum is proud to be childless but she鈥檚 puzzled as to why that attitude is still met with sharp criticism and incredulity by the public and mainstream media. She鈥檚 commissioned a collection of essays by 16 fellow writers who have also chosen to be childless in which they reflect on their choice. The book is called Selfish, Shallow and Self-Absorbed. Meghan Daum talks about the variety of reasons people have for their decision.
