Christopher Eccleston on class in British acting
British actors Damian Lewis, Eddie Redmayne and Dominic West - what do they all have in common? They all attended Eton College, one of the most famous - and expensive - boarding schools in the UK. Now their fellow Brit Christopher Eccleston - probably best known for his role as Doctor Who - is warning that a lack of support for less well-off young actors is preventing them from progressing in the industry, and has led to British culture becoming bland.
