Farage: I'd 'look forward' to by-election in Labour seat
The UKIP leader Nigel Farage has suggested he will try again to be elected in a Labour seat.
Much of the UKIP's support had come from “the lump we tore out of the Labour vote," he said, adding he would "look forward to a by-election in a Labour seat very much indeed".
Mr Farage said he would have been "very fearful" if Dan Jarvis had stood for Labour leadership because of his "ease talking to ordinary folk."
However, he felt the current leadership contenders were "representatives of new Labour metropolitan elite" and did not "pose [him] any problems".
