Mickey Arthur has expressed interest in becoming the new England cricket coach.

The ex-Australia and South African coach told 5 live Sport that the vacant job would be 'a wonderful opportunity at the minute'.

Arthur's comments come after Peter Moores was relieved of his duties over the weekend.

The South African also admits that England are "without a doubt, a weaker team without Kevin Pietersen".
