American comedian Bill Maher says he is 鈥渧ery radical on the issue of gun control鈥.

The 59-year-old Hollywood star said he was against the right to bear arms - despite owning two guns himself.

鈥淚 live in the gun country. Do I wish we didn鈥檛 live in the gun country? Absolutely,鈥 said Maher.

鈥淚 think we should completely get rid of the Second Amendment, that鈥檚 our amendment that鈥檚 misinterpreted to believe individuals can have guns. I think we have to get that out of the ground by the root,鈥 he added.
