A Cyclist's View of London
Jon Day is a lecturer in English at King's College London, and for three years he lived another life as a courier on a bicycle. His book Cyclogeography - Journeys of a London Bicycle Courier is an extended essay, giving us a cyclist's eye view of the city of London. He educates us too: half a million journeys are made in London by bike every day. As a courier, he sometimes cycled 300 miles a week, and burned up to 5,000 calories.
