Lawson singer: Liver failure 'a matter of life or death'
Lead singer of band Lawson, Andy Brown, says his liver failure βwas a matter of life or deathβ.
Brown, who named the band after a surgeon who previously performed life-saving surgery on a separate brain tumour, said the liver failure came while recording the bandβs second album.
βI was getting iller and iller and iller,β he said. βMy skin turned yellow, I lost a lot of weight.β
βThey put me on these steroids. It just started to regenerate and regenerate and after a few weeks I started to feel myself again. I feel so lucky really,β he added.
