'The threat is not confined to Tunisia'
All British nationals are being urged to leave Tunisia because "a further terrorist attack is highly likely", Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond says. The Foreign Office is advising against all non-essential travel to Tunisia, and some travel firms are repatriating their British staff.
Oliver Miles is a former British Ambassador to Libya and former head of the Foreign Office's Near East and North African Department. He told Today: 鈥淭here clearly is a threat but what puzzles me is the threat is not confined to Tunisia and is not confined to the British.
鈥淲hy are we focusing on Tunisia? Is it because 30 people got killed there two weeks ago? It鈥檚 not a good reason鈥.
