Women 'historically less good' at asking for pay rise
The Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue Alexandra Shulman says 鈥渨omen are historically less good at confronting people over the question of pay鈥.
Shulman said the pay gap between genders, which stood at 9.4% in April 2014, was "patently a problem鈥.
鈥滻 often find when people come to talk to me about pay they start off saying I鈥檓 sorry to bring this up. Whereas of course you鈥檙e absolutely entitled to bring up a question about pay.鈥
鈥淚 think in my own area there isn鈥檛 nearly as much differential,鈥 she added.
