Fatal escalator accident in China

A woman was crushed to death in a shopping mall in Jingzhou by an escalator that snapped and swallowed her up. There's a video which shows her pushing her three--year-old son to safety -- an attendant tries to save her but she gets sucked in by the mechanism.
Vivienne Zeng, a reporter at the Hong Kong Free Press, has been covering the story.
