From PJ Harvey to This Is the Kit

Featuring music from PJ Harvey and Bridget St John, and introducing a band who they've both influenced, This Is the Kit.

Guy raids the archive for music from PJ Harvey and Bridget St John, and introduces This Is the Kit, a band who they've both influenced, and who Guy believes haven鈥檛 yet been given the exposure they are worthy of.

Kate Stables of This Is the Kit pops round to Guy's house for a brew and a chat about how and why she writes and plays her music. There's an exclusive first view of This Is the Kit鈥檚 forthcoming video for 鈥楽ilver John鈥 from current album 鈥楤ashed Out鈥. Guy opens up his personal studio in his attic for Kate to play an intimate session of her track 鈥楽pores All Settling鈥 engineered by Guy himself.

Guy is also joined by 麻豆社 6 Music鈥檚 Tom Ravenscroft, who shares his thoughts on This Is the Kit, giving a unique insight into their influences. Tom also introduces a gem of a live recording from The Old Grey Whistle Test back in 1974.
