When you think of August, the last thing that probably springs to mind is logs. As in log fires on a winter's day. And yet now is one of the busiest times for log merchants, it never used to be, but so many people have reopened their fireplaces that towards the end of the last few winters there's been a real shortage of seasoned fire wood available, so people are getting their supplies in really early.
