Owls use what scientists and engineers are calling 鈥榮tealth technology鈥� to help them capture prey, new research suggests.

If owls can fly more quietly maybe aeroplanes can as well, said Dr Helen Czerski, a physicist at UCL.

鈥淎nything that鈥檚 got wings could be a lot quieter if you can understand this technology,鈥� Dr Czerski told Today.
