For the last eighteen months or so 麻豆社 Radio Leicester's Ben Jackson and local archaeologist Peter Liddle have been tracking down and visiting the lost castles of Leicestershire and Rutland. Despite initially thinking it might take a few weeks, the more Peter looked, the more he found. Now, rather than talking about great ruined battlements anymore like at Kirby Muxloe or Ashby, they are into the realm of the remnants left as earthworks in fields up and down the counties.
