Michael Palin, who is known as "Britain's nicest man", admitted he regularly rings his local council to complain about litter, but gets weary about "complaining all the time".

The former Monty Python star also said he "gets shirty about incompetence" when he rings up companies and "they can鈥檛 get things together".

Palin said he is "passionate about litter" and "cleaning the streets up", which is why he often calls the local council.
