Egyptian army launches its biggest operation yet in Sinai
The Egyptian army are calling it a "comprehensive operation to counter terrorism in the North Sinai. "The offensive was launched a couple of days ago...but the details are only now starting to come out. The target : fighters linked to the group calling itself Islamic State. The Egyptian military say that 29 jihadists were killed. Zack Gold of the Institute of Tel Aviv-based Institute of National Security Studies explains why it is all being kept under wraps.
