Judith Kerr releases new book
35 years since the publication of her last fiction title, 92-year-old Judith Kerr has this week released a new book. Born in Berlin, Judith came to England with her family when she was twelve after escaping the Nazis and travelling through Switzerland and France. She famously wrote about her early life experiences in her semi-autobiographical trilogy, Out of the Hitler Time. She has also written and illustrated 30 others - most well known for The Tiger Who Came to Tea, her Mog series; and When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit; Her latest is Mister Cleghorn's Seal. Julian Worricker asked Judith about the inspiration behind her new work.
