A sound, being described as a 'mysterious ghostly noise' similar to an air raid siren is being investigated in Swansea.

The noise can apparently be heard frequently, but the council admits it can't be traced.

Stella Elphick who lives in Swansea says she started hearing the noise last year, and is "curious" to know where the sound comes from.

A Swansea Council spokesperson said: 鈥淚nvestigations into a possible source are on-going, but we鈥檇 still ask members of the public to contact our noise pollution team if they have any information that could be helpful.鈥
