Comedian Bill Bailey and the show's creator John Lloyd have paid tribute to Stephen Fry after he announced he was quitting the 麻豆社 panel show QI.

Sandi Toksvig will take over and become the first female presenter of a mainstream comedy TV show.

Lloyd said Fry was "obviously born to do the job" - but said he wasn't the first choice for the role.
