Swann on the naughty step
A discussion on no-balls goes astray as ex-England cricketers Phil Tufnell, Michael Vaughan and Graeme Swann reminisce about England鈥檚 tour of South Africa back in 1999-2000, when Swann鈥檚 penchant for missing buses placed him firmly on coach Duncan Fletcher鈥檚 naughty step.
England were beaten 2-1 in the five-Test series, which was Fletcher鈥檚 first in charge of the national side.
Swann admits that Tufnell was his mentor, so it was surprising he didn鈥檛 miss more buses, while Tufnell believes that only missing three was a relatively good ratio for a four-month tour, asking 鈥淗ow many buses do you miss in a normal job?鈥.
Swann ends the chat by offering a friendly greeting to his former boss - 鈥淗ello to Duncan Fletcher if you鈥檙e listening鈥 - to which Vaughan retorts 鈥淗e鈥檚 not!鈥.
