Former Labour Health Minister Lord Warner has resigned the party whip in protest at the party's approach under new leader Jeremy Corbyn.

Speaking on the Today programme he says Labour face an 鈥渆xistential crisis鈥� and does not have a 鈥渉ope in hell鈥� of winning an election under its current leadership.

鈥淸Labour] has to understand why a large number of people decided to vote for four other parties on the7th May, it hasn鈥檛 done that鈥�, he said.
