'The smell of freedom': A young Afghan refugee's story of survival
Trafficked, imprisoned and almost drowned in the Mediterranean Gulwali Passarlay survived the journey from Afghanistan to the UK on his own when he was just 12 years old. Gulwali has talked about his experience in a book called The Lightless Sky. He's now 21 years old and in his final year of university in the UK. But when he left his home in eastern Afghanistan he was about to be recruited by the Taliban.
