New Formula one World Champion Lewis Hamilton has been telling Sport Today that if given the top job in the sport he'd immediately put the South African Grand Prix back on the F1 map.

We haven't had a Grand Prix there since the last South African race in 1993 at Kyalami, on that day the great Ayrton Senna finished on the podium.

But the circuit's developer Andrew Baldwin says they would welcome a return of F1 to South Africa.
