The Muslim cleric working for peace in C A R
Parliamentary and presidential elections in the Central African Republic will be held on December 13. Violence between Christian and Muslim militias has killed thousands of people and displaced nearly a quarter of the population in this landlocked country. Imam Abdoulaye Ouasselegue is a Muslim cleric who has been working with his counterparts from other faiths to put the country back on the road to peace:
