Author and illustrator Lauren Child, creator of the Charlie and Lola children鈥檚 books, has a love of dolls' houses.

She has spent thirty years creating one of her own, which is finally complete and now on display at the House of Illustration in London.

鈥淚t鈥檚 really a blank canvas, you do your own thing with it and suddenly it becomes very elaborate,鈥� she told the Today programme.

鈥淟ooking at rooms can be very calming, because you kind of inhabit them in your mind.鈥�
