Government 'not satisfied' with Sharm el-Sheikh airport screening
British passengers are being repatriated from Sharm el-Sheikh without their hold bags due to a "significant possibility" of an explosive device causing the recent plane crash.
British passengers are being repatriated from Sharm el-Sheikh following a halt of all flights to Britain due to a "significant possibility" of an explosive device causing the Russian plane crash at the weekend.
The government has mandated that passengers will only be able to bring hand luggage, and that hold luggage will be transported separately, to be returned "within a week to 10 days".
We spoke to Kate Dodd, a British holidaymaker who is stuck in Sharm el-Sheikh, and Patrick Mcloughlin, the Transport Secretary.
