Cape Verde Slave Trade Church
An archaeological dig on the Cape Verde islands off the coast of west Africa, has unearthed what is believed to be the oldest colonial era church on the continent. And it has provided an insight into the early years of the slave trade. Professor Marie Louise Stig S酶rensen from Cambridge University led the team behind this discovery.
