On the first stop of his first official trip to Africa, Pope Francis tells religious leaders in Kenya that dialogue between different faiths is challenging but essential. At least 16 people have been killed by suspected Boko Haram militants in an attack on a village in Niger. The African Union holds its first-ever conference on child marriage in the Zambian capital, Lusaka.
