Hospitals are missing key opportunities to save the lives of hundreds of babies in the UK, an investigation into stillbirths has found.

Shavon Perkins鈥� baby son Joseph was stillborn last year. Speaking to the Today programme, she described the devastating events that led up to his death, which was followed by a natural delivery.

鈥淗e was completely perfect and absolutely beautiful鈥� he just never opened his eyes or let out a cry,鈥� she told Mishal Husain.
