Pope condemns religious violence; Obama on the UN climate change summit; plus more news.

Pope Francis has condemned violence perpetrated in the name of God during a visit to a beleaguered mosque in Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic. President Obama has said the UN climate change summit in Paris could be a turning point in efforts to limit global warming. Reports from the Democratic Republic of Congo say up to 30 people were killed on Sunday in clashes between the Congolese army and Islamist rebels from Uganda.
