The 20-cent drug that could fight ageing
Metformin is a drug widely used to treat diabetes and costs less than 20 cents a day. It is now believed to slow the natural process of ageing. Professor Craig Currie is from Cardiff University and a lead author of a study on the effectiveness of Metformin.
