Steve Bartlett told 5live Breakfast: 鈥淚 don鈥檛 say I invested in it because that鈥檚 the wrong attitude to take. I gambled on it.鈥�

This type of crowdfunding, sometimes called rewards-based investment, is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. The FCA has told 5live people should only invest money they can afford to lose because some projects are high risk.

But Steve says it hasn鈥檛 put him off for long 鈥� and he鈥檚 now trying his luck with a new company that makes noise cancelling headphones.
