Another nail in the coffin
There is no future for the orangutan unless there's a concerted global effort to save enough of their habitat to ensure their survival. The warning comes from the British charity International Animal Rescue. Forest fires have resulted in vast quantities of rainforest disappearing, forcing the orangutans to flee their homes in the last three months. Alan Knight is International Animal Rescue's Chief Executive.
