The music of Rajasthan and its Sufi roots
Together with Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood, the Israeli musician Shye Ben Tsur recently recorded an album in a fort in Jodhpur, India with a group of musicians known as the Rajasthan Express. Weekend caught up with Shye Ben Tsur and he reflected on the new album and its influences from Sufism.
