The world's biggest blue sapphire?
The largest ever blue star sapphire is believed to have been mined in Sri Lanka. The current owner says the Gemmological Institute of Colombo has certified it weighs 14909.9 carats and estimated its value at $100 million dollars. So what is the owner going to do with it? He agreed to talk to us on condition that he remains anonymous due to security reasons.
