Beatles' Indian spiritual retreat reopens
50 years ago, the Beatles went on a spiritual retreat to India hosted by their then guru, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. The Beatles' time at the ashram spawned songs featured on one of their most iconic records, the White Album. After a time, the retreat in Rishikesh was abandoned and returned to nature. However, it's now been reopened, and first in line to visit included Beatles' fan Sanjoy Majumder.
