Playwright Stephen Davis celebrates Alan Rickman's life and career
Playwright Stephen Davis got to know Alan Rickman in 1981 after he specifically wrote a part in the TV play Busted for Rickman.
Rickman, who has died aged 69, worked on stage in many roles including Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Private Lives and Cleopatra.
On film he had roles in the Harry Potter series, Truly Madly Deeply, Love Actually, Die Hard, Sense and Sensibility, Galaxy Quest and Robin Hood Prince of Thieves.
