Energy regulator Ofgem is calling on energy firms to lower their prices after a two-year decline in wholesale costs.

Chief executive Dermot Nolan told the Today programme that gas companies were 鈥渙vercharging in many cases鈥�.

鈥淭he market is not working as competitively as it should be,鈥� he told presenter Justin Webb.
