Cancer Treatment for MS patients gives 'remarkable' results
A new Multiple Sclerosis treatment - known as an autologous haematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) - aims to destroy the faulty immune system using chemotherapy. MS affects muscle control when the immune system mistakenly attacks the nerves in the brain and spinal cord. Professors Basil Sharrack and, first, John Snowden discussed the hopeful finding.
