Yesterday Ben was out with archaeologist Peter Liddle just outside Braunston-in-Rutland along with field walker Claire Brown. Field walking is a way to quickly get an idea of the kind of what different areas have been used for over the last few hundred years, or in some cases over tens of thousands of years.

Today they're back out at the field on the hunt for ancient pottery.
