A vet has launched a campaign to raise just over $30,000 to send an endangered turtle home to the Canary Islands by private jet.

Terri the turtle was found on a beach on the island of Jersey, just off the coast of France, and was treated for shell damage and infection. She now needs to be sent to a warmer place... but there aren't any scheduled flights available.

So vet, Peter Haworth, is trying to raise the funds needed to get her home.
