Lagos Artists’ Village bulldozed
Hundreds of artists have become the latest victims of forced eviction in Lagos, Nigeria, as parts of a large complex - called the Artists’ Village - came under the bulldozer.
Actors, musicians, dancers, sculptors, painters and film producers are among those affected.
It is a part of a move which some fear could do lasting damage to Lagos' vibrant arts scene, as authorities try to make space in a rapidly expanding city. Â鶹Éç Africa’s Sam Olukoya reports.
