'The Russian bear won't scare us'
UN convoys are travelling to besieged areas of Syria to deliver urgent aid to tens of thousands of people who are trapped because of the fighting.
The World at One heard how people still living in Aleppo are facing up to the idea of living under siege, and then from Muhannad Asadi who works for the Arab Red Crescent.
Mr Asadi told presenter Martha Kearney about loading trucks hoping to reach besieged towns surrounding Damascus.
