The woman who shook up throat singing
Throat singing is particularly popular in Tuva, one of the Russian republics in southern Siberia, bordering Mongolia where it's practised mostly by men. But one woman has bucked the trend, becoming a trail blazer and taking throat singing to new heights. She's called Sainkho Namtchylak and is currently on a European tour. Ahead of her London concert, she took some time to come and talk - and sing - in the Newsday studio.
