Norfolk Wildlife Trust celebrates 90 years
Norfolk Wildlife Trust, the oldest wildlife trust in the UK, is celebrating its 90th birthday this weekend.
The organisation started in 1926 when 12 naturalists decided to buy 400 acres of marshes at Cley on the picturesque north Norfolk coast. It was the first of 47 wildlife trusts now active in the UK.
