Polls ratings for Labour "will grow and continue to get better over the next four years鈥�, said the press adviser to the left-leaning Momentum movement.

James Schneider said Jeremy Corbyn was 鈥渁bsolutely鈥� the best messenger for Labour, as he bridged the 鈥渂ig disconnect between Westminster and most people鈥�, as he seemed honest and straightforward.

He was speaking to Daily Poltiics presenter Andrew Neil, and Times columnist Phil Collins, ahead of the May elections, which will be a big test of Mr Corbyn's leadership.
