Disability cuts: 'a lot of concern' amongst MPs
A Conservative MP has warned that the number of backbenchers concerned about the government's planned disability cuts "is much more significant than the size of the government's majority."
Andrew Percy told Martha Kearney on Radio 4's World at One: "It is fair to say that the numbers on this who have expressed concern... are very significant indeed."
The Budget said 拢1.3bn of 拢4bn extra cuts needed by 2020 would come from reductions in Personal Independence Payments (PIP) for disabled people.
