England rugby union head coach Eddie Jones is a big fan of cricket and talks about the 鈥渇ree spirit鈥� of the West Indies batsman Chris Gayle.

England won the Six Nations with their first Grand Slam in 13 years and Jones suggests that every sporting team can afford to have one Gayle-type character, but more than one would 鈥渃ause a few problems鈥�.

The 56-year-old added: "In any one team you can have one outlier who's a bit different and has a bit more freedom because of his unique talent. If you have Chris Gayle and [former England cricketer] Kevin Pietersen in the same team, though, you might have a few problems."

The Australian went on to compare his captain Dylan Hartley to Gayle, saying: "In some ways he [Hartley] is an outlier. He's a likeable rogue, he's a bit different and he's done a great job as captain."
