Captured by pro-Russian militants
This month Ukrainian journalist Maria Varfolomeyeva was released after being held by pro-Russian militants in Donbass region, eastern Ukraine after a year in captivity. She was detained for taking pictures of a building that housed the militants' security services. It took her weeks to build up the strength to talk about her experience. Maria shared her story with 麻豆社 Monitoring's Vitaliy Shevchenko.
